Endemol Shine Australia’s slate represents the most exciting and popular programming on Australian free-to-air networks and pay-TV channels including blockbuster shows such as MasterChef, Australian Survivor, Big Brother, LEGO Masters, Australian Ninja Warrior and Married at First Sight.
During the COVID outbreak, Endemol Shine Australia needed temperature testing equipment for their entertainment productions as part of their industry COVID safe plan. At the time, Endemol Shine Australia was shooting an 8 part television drama series, ‘RFDS’ for the 7 Network. The series was shot on location in Broken Hill, NSW from July to October 2020, during the height of the pandemic. A particular challenge was how to efficiently scan all cast and crew when commencing and ending shifts.
T-Scan’s stand-alone, automated temperature testing units were used daily to manage the rush, drastically reducing staffing requirements involved in ensuring that all staff were in a safe working environment in relation to Covid 19.
The production team was able to test staff on a more regular basis and the temperature readings allowed the team to make immediate choices in relation to staff working each day. All scan information was digitally recorded for later reporting.
