Three new Harmony Early Learning facilities are scheduled to open in 2021 and all centres are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and highly qualified educators devoted to helping young minds learn and grow.
The Early Learning industry has always faced the challenge of controlling the spread of the influenza virus, with impacts on children, families and centre staff.
The COVID pandemic saw the introduction of new industry safety plans and, as part of those requirements, manual temperature testing had become mandatory. This requirement put enormous pressure on both staff and parents at Harmony Early Learning during drop-off and collection times. Having to record the details of each scan by hand was an additional burden.
T-Scan’s automated temperature scanning systems were used to automate temperature tests for all Harmony Early Learning centre entries, digitally recording all scanned data for later reporting and contact tracing.
T-Scan’s engaging interface made scanning a fun activity for children and freed up staff members to focus on other activities. When high temperature readings were detected, email and SMS notifications were generated to immediately alert centre managers.
The solution is now used across multiple facilities to underline Harmony’s commitment to child and family health and safety.
